Have more impact, confidence and intention with
how you lead

Discover leadership workshops for leaders in smaller organisations, who rarely get time or support to work on how they lead.

Why this workshop?

Leadership development shouldn't be reserved only for people in large organisations.

Founders and leaders in smaller organisations often have to work leadership out as they go.

There may be no learning and development team, leadership programme or ready-made peer group. Yet the challenges are no less demanding. You are still making difficult decisions, handling conflict, navigating uncertainty and working out how to help a team perform at its best.

The absence of formal leadership development does not mean an absence of leadership challenges.

Without protected space to work on this, it is easy to stay in delivery mode, repeat familiar habits or keep carrying a problem that might look very different from another angle.

Intentional Leadership provides an antidote to working leadership out alone - protected reflection, practical development and the perspective of other people who are in the same boat.

Small Social Enterprise Leadership Development - The Future Works Culture Change Consultan

Who is it for exactly?

For people who lead, but rarely get to work on their leadership.

The workshop is designed for founders, small-business leaders, social entrepreneurs and people leading teams in smaller organisations.

It can be commissioned for:

  • Workspaces and co-working communities;

  • Founder and entrepreneur networks;

  • Accelerator and development programmes;

  • Social enterprise and purpose-led business communities;

  • Membership organisations;

  • Small teams or groups of leaders.

Participants do not need a particular job title or level of experience. What matters is that they are responsible for making things happen through other people and want to become more conscious about how they do that.

The Future Works Intentional Leadership Development Workshop - Culture change Consultancy.

What does it involve?

The workshop addresses real, live leadership challenges and questions you're having.

The workshop is a structured opportunity for participants to work on their actual leadership, rather than a training session. Depending on the length and needs of the group, the session can include:

  • Reflecting on how you currently lead and how that approach has been shaped;

  • Identifying a live leadership challenge or pattern;

  • Exploring your leadership edge - the place where your next stage of development may lie;

  • Clarifying the kind of leader you want to become;

  • Learning from the experiences and perspectives of other participants;

  • Asking and receiving thoughtful, challenging questions;

  • Turning insight into a practical next step or short-term experiment.

The atmosphere is relaxed, collaborative and focused.

You will leave with tools for greater confidence, impact and intention.

Participants should leave with:

  • a clearer understanding of how they are currently leading;

  • fresh perspective on a real challenge;

  • greater confidence in their own leadership approach;

  • a stronger sense of what they want to develop next;

  • one practical action or experiment to take forward;

  • the reassurance and connection that come from learning alongside other leaders.

Tailoring this for your community or team

A flexible workshop for your community or team.

Intentional Leadership can be delivered as a lunchtime taster, a longer standalone workshop or a short series.

It can be adapted to the experience, context and time available within your group, and delivered in person or online.

I currently offer a limited number of free taster sessions for workspaces, accelerator programmes and founder communities.

The taster gives participants a useful experience in its own right and allows you to see whether a longer workshop or series would benefit your group.

Bring Intentional Leadership to your group

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are your services for?

I work with leaders, teams and organisations who know that something needs to change, but need help leading it well. You may be looking for clarity, assurance and practical support from someone you can trust.

Does the leadership need to be fully onboard with this before I approach you?

Though it helps if they are, they don’t need to be. Part of our service is helping you to obtain that buy-in from your leadership team and the wider organisation to ensure that the journey runs smoothly.

I have a small budget, is it worth me reaching out?

We bring big impact at competitive prices as a small organisation. We’re able to be flexible in how we design and price your project so you’re always getting the most competitive deal.

How long do your services take?

It depends on the size of your organisation and the service you need. Some programmes take as little as three weeks to complete. Larger, more comprehensive programmes may take a few months. Either way, we focus on bringing a sustainable impact from the word 'go'.

I'm worried you'll try to change us too much - is there a risk of that?

If some things are working really well, why change them? Everything we do is co-developed and keeps your best interests at its core. We’re all about building on your strengths.

Do you offer one-off workshops and away days?

Yes, we do deliver these. We provide short, sharp but high-impact offsites, workshops and events, bespoke for you.

Who will lead our project?

We match our consultant team to you to deliver your project most effectively. However, all projects are led by founder Lydia Paris.
